Design approach
A deliberate UX/UI decision: don’t change too much visually, so existing readers would not suddenly be lost. What we did set out to do was vastly improve the typography and legibility of the articles themselves.
Äripäev is an Estonian business-oriented publishing house that has been around since 1989 — and the digital home of its titles.

As with any project, big or small, we started with several face-to-face meetings with the client’s team to understand their business and technical needs.
Then we took the time to reach out to current and potential Äripäev readers for interviews — to learn how they use it day to day, and to build an experience that actually caters to that.
A deliberate UX/UI decision: don’t change too much visually, so existing readers would not suddenly be lost. What we did set out to do was vastly improve the typography and legibility of the articles themselves.
The previous site had no good way to show Äripäev’s sibling titles. We built them into the main menu, and the same navigation and content UI logic now runs across all of those websites.
Scalable components allow dynamic changes, giving each site’s editors the flexibility and reuse they need. The layout and design-system logic lets them focus on creating content instead of working around technical hurdles.
